A wand that removes dark circles?

I’m always on the lookout for new ways to stop wrinkles in their tracks. I’ve tried plenty of treatments from Vitamin C serum through to microbrasion facials. All have worked to a certain degree. So I was slightly intrigued to see if an ionic eye massager wand could remove my tired dark circles under my eyes and stop crows feet from appearing.

I was impressed when the Sunmay eye massager arrived, its smaller than I expected but discreet enough to store away. The wand came with instructions and a grey velvet drawstring bag. The wand needs 1 x AAA battery which was included and does include a 12 month warranty.

I followed the instructions by removing my eye makeup, I then applied eye cream (a good moisturiser works just as well) to the eye area. Turning the massager wand on, it makes a slight buzz, I placed the wand touching my delicate skin under my eyes. You can point and touch the area in a patting motion or sweep the wand round for massaging. I started by patting, once I got braver on my second attempt the next morning, I stepped up to sweeping massage movements. The treatment takes less than a minute to perform. I usually use twice daily, morning after moisturiser and before applying makeup. Then again in the evening once I’ve removed all my makea be moisturised.

The massager wand felt quite gentle and has soft simulation to the eye area. My eyes felts brighter and more awake after use. But I didn’t notice much difference at first. After a week of use, I felt my eyes looked fresher, less puffy and less wrinkled. Overall it’s a good non-chemical treatment and perfect after a tiring week.
