How to get Freebie Stuff

It all started a couple of years ago when money was tight and I really needed just an income boost to help me along. Then one afternoon I sat searching the Internet for ways to make an extra income. I came across plenty of get rich schemes  it was the product testers required that caught my attention. Before I knew it I was filling in questionnaire forms and sat back and waited.

It took probably a few weeks before I received my first email asking if I would like to test a newly released L’Oreal mascara. It might not seem a great deal but it was still a freebie and still saved me £9 if I was to buy the mascara. It seemed so simple, I received the mascara in the post and all I had to do was test the product and write an  online review and offer feedback to the company. It became very fun and awfully addictive. Not mention it was saving me money.

Unfortunately getting free products to test does require plenty of patience.

There were months I would receive nothing or I was deemed unsuitable for a campaign (simply down to the wrong age, sex, demographics). But when that email popped up, I was quick to accept. I’ve been able to try for free all sorts of products from branded shampoo, makeup, food, washing tablets, clothes, sun cream right through to high end laser hair removal gadgets. Every item I’ve received have been genuine high street brands and has saved me money as I didn’t have to part with any cash. Great right?

So how did I get started?
I found a range of product research websites which I joined,  some good, some bad. Some websites didn’t suit my demographic and others seemed a bit of a scam. So I want to take out the hard work and share my experience of the ones I’ve had success with.

Bzzagent

Products: Household, Food, Beauty Products.

These guys are my favourite and we’re most of my freebies how come from. Sign up is easy, although social media isn’t always a requirement it does help to get campaigns.  After I joined it took only a few weeks before I got my first campaign freebie. But be aware, you do need to be in the ball with emails and reply quickly as popular campaigns fill up quickly. There has been quite a few I’ve missed out on by not checking my emails regularly.

Braun Silk Expert 3
One of my best freebies I got to try out.

The Insiders

Products: Household, Food, Pet, Beauty, Electrical Gadgets (printers/coffee machines/phones) Products.

Sign up is easy,  again social media isn’t always a requirement it does help to get campaigns.  Campaigns happen every quarter and you can sign up to any current campaign on offer. The better the product, the harder it can be to get accepted but the products are great. Some of the higher end products such as Kitchen gadgets or mobile phones do require a deposit upfront before reviewing, so bear this in mind.

Beauty products are usually very easy to get for free especially hair dyes.

Trnd

Products: Household, Food, Pet, Beauty, Electrical and DIY Gadgets

Not had many freebies to try out from this website but is still a great one to try. Great for general household products such as laundry tablets and hair products.

Supper Savvy Me

Products: Various P&G Household products.

This site has occasionally products to test for free from the Proctor & Gamble brand. The site is quite informative and offers money off coupons and giveaway competitions too.

I really hope you found my article informative and helpful. I love reviewing which has become a fantastic hobby and helps me save money with the freebies I receive.
