I’m not ashamed to admit it but there’s nothing I find more relaxing than cleaning my home from top to bottom. I even have a special cupboard to fit every type of cleaning product I’ll ever need for the job.
My Facebook seems to be swapped with adverts for various stuff but it was the cleaning product Koh that caught my eye. Koh a company that manufactures a cleaning product which doesn’t use any harsh chemicals and basically replaces all those individual cleaning products down to just the one bottle. This was enough to convince me as I’m running out of cupboard space. I quickly ordered my bundle starter kit for a special introductory price of £19.99 which included 4L Universal Cleaner, 1 Atomizer, 4 Microfiber Cloths, 4 Diamond Sponges.
My starter kit arrived fairly quickly, I was very impressed with the quality of the green microfibre cloths, they are so much better quality than the ones I currently use plus one corner of each cloth has a rougher grey fabric to tackle tougher stains.
The main cleaning product arrived in a cardboard box with plug dispenser (bit like wine in a carton). I liked this concept, as it can be recycled once empty. It’s really easy to fill the plastic spray bottle included and only use the required amount of cleaner without waste.
The Koh cleaning liquid is clear and doesn’t have any fragrance which is such a refreshing change from strong, harsh chemical and detergent smells. Plus the Koh cleaner is safe to use around pets and humans.
Koh universal cleaner can be used to clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, counter tops, walls, glass, you name it. Its tough on dirt, grease and grime. Its even certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) and recommended by Allergy UK’s Seal of Approval™ program!
I began by tackling my kitchen especially my cooker. The Koh surprisingly worked great with very little elbow grease involved, it was a breeze removing grease from my cooker hood and electric hob. Both of which came up not only clean without serious rubbing but shiny too.
What I was most impressed with was my Breville Hot water kettle, living in a hard water area, limescale can build up quickly. One spray of Koh, leave for a few minutes, then wipe down to a new kettle! I was impressed and it was so easy to use, now I use weekly to remove limescale and bring back the shine!
The micowave was next, both inside and out it cleaned with ease and came up looking shiny and new just like the kettle. By this point my green cloth is now completely dirt and wet through. Its great at cleaning but you do need to keep changing your green cloth as it gets grimy quickly. This is my only gripe with Koh cleaner. It does require regularly cleaning of my new cloths otherwise cleaning becomes unhygienic and actually creates more grime, dirt and streaks on mirrors if the cloth is too damp to wipe clean. Talking of cleaning, the green microfiber cloths washed at 30 degrees and come up clean again. So far I haven’t had any real use of the diamond sponges, but I’m sure these will come in handy to clean the inside of the oven.
Koh cleaner is brilliant at removing greasy areas and limescale such as cooker hoods, worktop splash backs, kettles and microwaves with ease. It makes the job of cleaning so much easier, just a few quick sprays, wait a few minutes for the product to work, then wipe clean, simple. It adds shine to glass tables and furniture. It works fab with stainless steel to give ultimate shine but for wood surfaces, mirrors and windows, I would avoid.
But, as much as I love Koh, I definitely will not be emptying my cupboards of my current cleaning products, as I feel certain products do need to be used for certain cleaning tasks. Sorry Koh, but overall Koh is a fantastic cleaning product that is both good for the environment and safe to use around pets and humans and for that I applaud you Koh!
